World War 2 in the Air - open informational project.

I want to create historical diary of the Air War during WW2 (1939-1945) - everythig, every interesting event, historical point, known fact about airforces.
I love WW2 period and I love airforces of that time. It was something really glamour there, what was lost in jet era with its “fire and forget” and “beyond visual range” battles.

Besides, it was in general the only full-scale airforces usage, so it gives really unique experience both in strategy and tactics.
Alltogether we can make the most detailed project about WW2 and what is most beautifull - the longer work goes, the better and more exact diary will be.

So if you have something to add here - you are mostly welcome. You may write me at info@aviapedia.com single article, or request to be constant editor of the “WW2 in the Air” project.

The most important point to remember - project will gather only exact facts, every article (if it is not something really well-known, as “1st september - war has began”) should have source of data.
